The Definitive Difference

Wake up and smell the coffee! Jesus Christ and Him crucified has made the definitive difference!
In the words of the prophet Isaiah,
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
- Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV)
We are now living under the New Covenant. God has made the Old Covenant of the Law obsolete (Hebrews 8:13, NKJV). Under the New Covenant, God said,
“Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
- Hebrews 10:17, Jeremiah 31:34 (NKJV)
Even the Psalmist David, a man after Gods own heart envied our blessed stated (1 Samuel 13:14; Acts 13:22, NKJV),
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered;
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”
- Romans 4:6-8, Psalm 32:1-2 (NKJV)
The A-oink-ted: Sacrilegious! Blasphemous! How dare you encourage people to sin! How can a holy God not punish sin! The Holy and Righteous God will punish every sinner! Period. Do not reinterpret the Bible to hide an inconvenient truth. The Bible does not lie! Say it as it is!
First up, people are already sinning without being encouraged (Romans 3:23, NKJV). And you who are coming so strongly against sin, are you living a perfectly sinless lifestyle? Or are you whacking others for the sins they are under while turning a blind eye to your own? As Jesus said in Matthew 7:3-5 (NKJV),
“And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
The love of God is the power to break sinful habits. As written in Romans 6:14 (NKJV),
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
Finally, God did not sweep sin under the carpet. God justified sinners on a righteousness basis as evident from 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV),
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
You, the a-oink-ted, are unleashing the condemnation you feel for your own sins by whacking others for theirs. While having a form of godliness, you are denying its power (2 Timothy 3:5, NKJV).
Jesus said.
“And from such people turn away!”
- 2 Timothy 3:5 (NKJV)
You, the a-oink-ted, shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourself, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the definitive display and proof of God’s love for us. He overcame sin and removed its penalty and power by subduing sin in His very own Person (Romans 8:3-4, Amplified Bible). We are being transformed as we continually behold the perfect finished work of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV). The Law is unable to change anyone for by the law is the consciousness of sin (Romans 3:20, NKJV).
We are being perfected in God’s love. But the devil uses the Law to instill the fear of divine punishment and thereby drives us further and further away from the love of God to our own detriment (1 Corinthians 15:56; 1 John 4:18, Amplified Bible).
There IS therefore NOW no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1, NKJV).
So get thee behind me, a-oink-ted! You can also enjoy the same freedom to be had in Christ Jesus. Why join the oinking fate of Matthew 8:31-32 (NKJV)?
The Cross of Jesus the Christ has made the definitive difference!
